Leadership is changing at Sense-Co Tasmania, the commercial spin-off of Tasmania's cutting-edge big data project, Sense-T.
Ros Harvey, who has led Sense-T since its inception and was founding CEO of its commercial arm Sense-Co Tasmania, is leaving the University. She will pursue other interests, including a role as an advisor on strategy for Sirca.
Experienced interim manager, Frank Archibald, will act as Sense-Co Tasmania CEO while an extensive recruitment search is carried out.
University of Tasmania Deputy Vice Chancellor Research Professor Paddy Nixon said: "We appreciate Ros' considerable contribution. We are grateful to her and wish her well in her future endeavours."
Ms Harvey said she was enormously proud of what had been achieved during her two-and-a-half years with Sense-T, thanking staff, colleagues and partners for their support.
