Four Tasmanian businesses are among six companies that have been chosen to form a panel of preferred ICT suppliers to assist Sense-T in the delivery of its projects.
Appointed through an open tender process, the Sense-T ICT Panel will support Sense-T's new Industry Research Projects to develop web-based or mobile applications that provide, in a user-friendly format, specialist scientific data visualisation or presentation of GIS or spatial data.

Sense-T is committed to supporting and helping to grow the State's ICT sector and is already working with Tasmanian companies 41st Degree Software and Definium Technologies, which have been joined on the Panel by two other local businesses in Grifby and Ionata Digital.
Sense-T's 14 Industry Research Projects will use sensor technology and data analysis to help industry, researchers and governments to solve practical problems and make better decisions across the Tasmanian economy and community in areas such as agriculture, aquaculture, health, tourism and new financial services.
